New role available in Fundación Carlos Simón

Fundación Carlos Simón, as active member of the Microbionet hub, is looking for a Computational Biologist with strong expertise in microbiome-related research interested in developing bioinformatics and systems biology pipelines in a multiomics data integration analysis context. This professional will join a multidisciplinary team focused on mining metagenomics and single-cell RNA sequencing data and then integrating said data with other omics-based data to generate maps of human-microbiome interactions.

This role will actively participate in highly translational research, contributing to applications to support interpretations of the microbiota’s impact on human reproduction. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of microbiome metagenomics and data integration and experience developing bioinformatics pipelines and data analysis.

They are searching for a professional who is willing to be a critical team member integrated into the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Team and the Endometrial Microbiome Team led by Dr. Inmaculada Moreno and will focus on analyzing the biological interplay between the microbiota and human reproduction by combining the study of various conditions and molecular data.
